![]() Hope it works for you if you're having the same issues I was having. You may want to try it and the software can be found here: BUT, when I re-installed the older v1.5.0 version, it worked like a charm. Unfortunately the scroll function and button assignment dont work too well without the Kensington software. STILL didn't work and had to uninstall the Kensington app. Hi all, Does anyone who uses Trackballworks software happen to know a way or a hack to make the pointer speed beyond the limit in that software If I disable Trackballworks I can speed it up quite a lot using the default windows settings. So when I updated my OS to Big Sur v11.4 on one of my drives that had TrackballWorks v1.5.0 and it was working, I decided to use one of duplicate back up drives (with the same software), and tried the LONG above instructions to install the most current app. Unplug the Trackball and plug it back in.Go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility > check KensingtonWorks Helper.Check if the software is blocked in the general tab, tbwDKManager.app allow it.Go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > General.Install the software from the downloaded file.Follow the below link to download the latest KensingtonWorks software file:.Open “preferences” folder and please look for “.plist”,tbwsettings.json and delete it6.KensingtonWorks Uninstaller can be located in Finder > Applications > Utilities > KensingtonWorks Uninstaller.Select “Go to Folder” and search for “~/Library” and return.Click on “Go” in the menu bar on the top.Go to System Preferences > right click on Kensingtonworks > remove.I tried many approaches and followed all the steps from this other person saying to do this: I had many issues trying to use the most updated Kensington TrackballWorks v2.2.10 with my SlimBlade Trackball and it did NOT recognize it AT ALL and required me to plug it in (when it was ALREADY plugged in).
